Pato plays guitar and sings the familiar songs and deep cuts from the last century, and mostly re-imagined in a creative and wonderful way. He played bass and guitar in a variety of San Francisco Bay Area original and cover bands and comes to his craft informed by years of "playing to the room." Former bands include: Iguana Twist (MTV appearance on The Basement Tapes 1984), Big Mix, funk and soul; Moes Kitchen, acid jazz, funk, soul, Tumblin' Dice, A Rolling Stones Tribute, The Re-Tenders, Pretenders Tribute, Dead Cat Hat (indie rock, produced 4 albums), The Stolen Moments, a trio playing re-imagined covers. Pato also played upright and electric bass in a variety of jazz combos and theater pit orchestras throughout the last four decades.
